USVSA will be responsible for the entire process from start to finish, including taking multiple photos, doing all the research to enhance the 'value' of your item(s), compose detailed descriptions and loading all this information onto the USVSA web site. We answer all phone, email and fax inquiries quickly. USVSA operates the auction process in a way that will get you the most for your collectible. Lastly, we handle all accounting, packing, shipping and follow up for you after the auction closes.

We have an extensive mailing list with thousands of former customers, proven buyers. The USVSA site is dedicated solely to vintage surf related items. We appeal to collectors that would not normally have the time to scour the mass auction sites online or travel outside of there local area.

For those that would like to sell a large collection, USVSA can customize a special auction. Our custom auction would feature your collection in part or totality. This assures you the most for your collection with the least amount of hassle.

Consignments

We are welcoming consignments of fine vintage surf related items. If you have interesting surfing related memorabilia or surfboards you would like us to consider, you may call, email, fax or send a letter to us. We offer greater exposure and more service. Our fee of 10% is the lowest consignment fee charged at any surf auction.

Of course surfboards but also surf related clothing, art, surf contest objects, decals, patches, ephemera, posters, books, magazines, figurines and items relating to Duke Kahanamoku. If you're not sure, just ask.

Consigment form

Description: Please provide a brief description of the item you wish to have considered: Maker, model, age, etc. In the case of surfboards: Fin type, fin box type, stringer style, nose and / or tail blocks.
Medium / Materials: Surfboards: Wood (type), wood with fiberglass, foam and fiberglass. Figurines: Metal, ceramic, glass, etc.
Dimensions: What are the dimensions in inches? Measure height x width (x depth, if applicable). If a painting or print, please exclude the frame size.
Signature / Date: Is there a signature, date, or any kind of markings? If so, please describe (if partial or unreadable, put what you can decipher or take a clear photo).
Condition: In what condition is the property? Describe any damage or wear (tears, stains, holes, cracks, dents, etc.). Is there any evidence of repair or restoration? Describe any changes you suspect not to be original.
Provenance: What is the provenance/history of the piece? Where did you obtain it (inherited, original owner, purchased from antique store/auction house/dealer)?
